We all misunderstood that Arabic recipes are spicy and rich in spices. But in contrast, they also have delicious sweet desserts which do not sweet much and make us get bored. The Baklava recipe is one such dessert that tastes heavenly and used in all the celebrations of the region.
The most important ingredient of this recipe is the filo dough which helps in the formation of layers. However, it can be done at home and you can get it perfect when you have a lot of practice. The flaky phyllo pastry which has heavily soaked layers with the spiced walnuts makes it a better combination.

Brush each sheet before you place the other on the top and place the nuts. To clarify, add five sheets of phyllo after the 10 layers and use one layer of nuts. Again add five layers of phyllo and place the nuts as a layer.

The arrangement of the sheet is as follows
- Add the 10 layers of phyllo sheets and then place ¾ cups of processed nut mixture on the top.
- Add the 5 layers of phyllo sheets and then place the same amount of nut mixture. Repeat this step for another three times.
- Again add the 10 layers of sheets and then nut mixture. Do not forget to brush the layers before adding the next one.
4. Cutting The Baked Baklava
Once the layering is done, it is time to cut them diagonally to get the traditional shape of Baklava. Further, bake them for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325 degrees Fahrenheit until they all turn golden brown.
